A 1st Quarter point spread allows a bettor to wager on how many points a team will win or lose by in the first quarter of a game. A favorite of -3 has to win the first quater by 4 or more while an underdog of +3 needs to win the quarter OR lose by less than 3 point to cover the spread.
Favorites are displayed with a "-" sign followed by the amount of points they are laying while underdogs get a "+" sign followed by the amount of points they are receiving.
